Pink Ink Drink!

Yesterday was Dr. Seuss’ birthday.  We celebrated with our annual Dr. Seuss meal.

This year we featured:

Red fish J-ello jigglers and star biscuits (for the Sneetches)

Cat in the hat kabobs.  This year we added marshmallow faces and learned that edible food markers are tricky for munchkins to use!

and of course the traditional Green Eggs & Ham (with a hint of pineapple for fun).

Last but not least our Traditional Pink Ink Drink!

It isn’t too late to keep the party going – celebrate with a tasty pink ink drink and grab a book this week!

  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 cup froze blackberries
  • 1 1/2 TBSP sugar (or to taste)

Place all ingredients in blender and mix until smooth.  Serve immediately
