Hello! I am back hopefully for a bit with some fun things 🙂 I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I had meant to post something fun but let’s just say the day before Thanksgiving was very traumatic this year and life didn’t go as planned.
After everything I am thankful we found a mechanic willing to help before they closed for the holiday, thankful for Grandparents who drop everything and come help and extremely grateful that no one was seriously hurt when our car was rear ended 3 blocks from Grandma’s house after a VERY long day of traveling. All in all we have had some tender mercies and a chance to refocus on those things that matter most as we head into the holidays.
Now onto the project for today! Over the holiday we decided to throw a baby shower for my SIL. We don’t live near them and weren’t sure if we would get the chance to see them again before their little one makes its arrival. It was a pretty low key affair with a few games, chocolate suckers and some presents. Sadly the only picture I have of the whole thing is of the little outfit I made.
The pants are Rae’s Newborn pants pattern. They were SUPER easy to make and the pattern is fantastically easy to read with step by step pictures!
For the shirt I used the tutorial Take Me Home T by Homemade by Jill.
