Blackberry Pavlova

We have had a plethora of these :

The harvest has been large and plentiful.  I think we have also finally figured out how to pick them.  Big, juicy and sweet with a hint of zing!

Our freezer is stocked and ready for Pink Ink Yink Drink
so it was time to explore other possibilities!

First up was Pavlova.

Do you remember the Raspberry Pavlova from last year?

We wondered if we could pull of individual sized portions and substitute blackberries for the raspberries.   My SIL came over and we gave it a try.  They did indeed work.  Click on the link for the recipe and simply form to desired shape.  We cooked them about 20-25 min. less than the time listed for a large pavlova.
