Street Gutter Regatta!

What do you do when the weather is stormy?

Well if its warm and lightning free make boats!  This craft has to be credited to the munchkins and their dad.  They had make a bunch of hats for a “carnival” they are planning.  However, when the “perfect” storm arrived it was a golden opportunity  ~ too great to pass up.  With Dad’s help the hats became boats and the race was on!

Next time we are thinking either thicker paper boats or perhaps wax paper boats.  After about 2 runs they had a tendency to fall apart.

No worries though!  All is not lost.  When the water dries up and the boats all drowned you can still grab a partner and have a rain dance!
